The governors of California, Oregon and Washington on Monday introduced a joint plan of motion to get a deal with on the COVID-19 pandemic and finally reopen their economies.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee made the pact announcement in an announcement.

“COVID-19 has preyed upon our interconnectedness. In the coming weeks, the West Coast will flip the script on COVID-19 – with our states acting in close coordination and collaboration to ensure the virus can never spread wildly in our communities,” the assertion learn.

The governors burdened that its coordinated response effort is not going to hinder every states’ capability to construct a “state-specific plan.”

The assertion continued, “Our residents’ health comes first. As home to one in six Americans and gateway to the rest of the world, the West Coast has an outsized stake in controlling and ultimately defeating COVID-19.”
