As a result of he was awake, Crockett observed his telephone buzzing and noticed the storm alert warning. He ushered his spouse and three daughters into the laundry room downstairs for refuge within the horrible storm.

“We heard it coming and suddenly the house began to shake,” he told the Baptist and Reflector. “Next thing I remember is I felt grass underneath me. The tornado must have picked up the entire house dropped it in the yard with us buried underneath it.”

He stated the one factor that saved the household from being crushed was a two-by-four that fell throughout the washer and dryer.

The Crockett household survived with a couple of scrapes and bruises however their beloved Doc did not make it. “Lacking this man…” the pastor wrote on Fb Friday morning.
